Botox and Fillers

Here at our Heaton Mersey Orthodontic Centre in Manchester we are very excited to offer both botox and filler therapy to potential clients from Didsbury, Manchester and further afield, courtesy of Consultant Dermatologist Naila Usmani of myskindesign. Botox® therapy is a neuromuscular blocker, which was first pioneered for the treatment of blepharospasm (twitching of the eyelids). Its use in cosmetic therapy to reduce wrinkles and the visible signs of ageing is both effective and safe with studies showing high levels of patient satisfaction. In 2006 botulium injections were the most frequently performed cosmetic procedure in the USA. It can also be used to markedly reduce excessive armpit sweating.

Dermal fillers are another very effective way to plump up the skin and restore fullness to the upper lip lines, to reduce the visible signs of ageing.
