Tazeen Usmani

Tazeen Usmani graduated as a dentist in 1992 from Leeds Dental Hospital. She did her vocational training year in Manchester. Although she worked in general practice for four years, in conjunction with general practice Tazeen also worked as a clinical assistant in orthodontics at Bolton Central Hospital.

She enrolled on an orthodontic program at Manchester Dental Hospital in 1996 and in 2000 gained a Master of Science degree and the membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Tazeen is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and is on the General Dental Council Specialist Register of Orthodontics. She also a member of the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Tazeen is recognised as a specialist in Orthodontics.

Tazeen is active in continuing professional development regularly attending postgraduate courses to keep up with new techniques. She is certified in the use of Invisalign.

Tazeen is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Tazeen set up the practice in August 2000 from a building which was previously a printers and old stationers.

Now she works as a part time orthodontist, as she is married with two young children.

Tazeen enjoys reading, circuit training and socialising.

Bilal Bhatti

In 2000 Dr Bhatti and Dr Usmani established the Heaton Mersey Orthodontic Centre and have been there since then. They have also set up the Oldham Orthodontic centre in 2005.

Bilal is a member of the British Dental Association, British Orthodontic Society, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Bilal graduated as a dentist from Sheffield University in 1991 and continued to work at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital as a House Officer for a six month period. After a short spell in general dental practice and a six month period of travelling, he spent two years as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at hospitals in Birmingham and Wexham Park.

In 1995 he was appointed as a Senior House Officer at Manchester Dental Hospital and gained valuable experience in oral surgery, oral medicine, restorative dentistry and children’s dentistry. During his time at Manchester Dental Hospital he gained his fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. After a further six months in general dental practice he returned to a three year postgraduate training programme in Orthodontics at the University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff. There he gained a Masters of Science degree and the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2000.

Bilal is recognised as a specialist in Orthodontics and is on the General Dental Council’s orthodontic specialist register.

Bilal is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Bilal is active in continuing professional development regularly attending postgraduate courses as well as providing lectures to vocational general dental practioners as part of their postgraduate training. He is certified in the use of Invisalign.

Bilal enjoys swimming and Kung Fu and is married with two young children.

Dr Naila Usmani is a well published, UK qualified consultant dermatologist presently working as an NHS consultant in a busy dermatology department in the Yorkshire region.

Dr Usmani graduated as a medical doctor in 1999 from Leeds University before completing her dermatology training in 2008. Other than a thorough understanding of the anatomy, physiology and treatment of skin diseases she also has a interest in facial rejuvenation techniques and has completed certified training in the use of Botox® and dermal fillers.
